Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives

* Support EU Human Rights Priorities in the Republic of Moldova;
* Support civil society, democracy activists and human rights defenders to combat discrimination in all its various forms in the Republic of Moldova

Priorities
* Fight against any forms of discrimination against women, minorities, LGBTI and other vulnerable groups in the Republic of Moldova

Among financed actions
* Promotion and strengthening of policy dialogue on human rights including the promotion of non-discrimination;
* Implementation of the recommendations formulated by the EU or the OSCE/ODIHR Electoral Observation Missions (EOM);
* Monitoring of trials of interest to Moldovan society, followed by reporting and dissemination of information to the media;
* Support implementation of measures fighting discrimination of vulnerable groups including of women, members of minority communities and of LGBTI communities;
* Advocacy and lobbying to promote gender equality, (human rights of women, girls, LGBTIs): prevention of gender-based violence and discrimination, protection from any form of violence and harmful practices;
* Support for protection of the social, economic and cultural rights of persons belonging to minorities

Additional information
* This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In the first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated

* Initial duration of the project: between 24 and 36 months

* Eligibility
– Be a legal person;
– Be non-profit-making;
– Be a specific type of organisation such as: non-governmental organisation, public sector operator, local authority;
– Be established in the Republic of Moldova or in an EU Member State
