Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
– Support civil society and human rights defenders in Indonesia working on human rights (political, civil, economic, social and cultural), and democratisation issues; 
– The proposed actions should focus on the achievement of first objective of the EIDHR regulation, namely support to human rights and human rights defenders in situations where they are most at risk

Priorities
– Promotion of non-discrimination in Indonesia in particular addressing the issues of the rights to information, freedom of expression, assembly and association of the most vulnerable and marginalised groups/communities;
– Promotion of rights-based and sustainable business practices in Indonesia, to address initiatives at national and/or regional levels on the implementation of the United National Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights in Indonesia, particularly linked to the three principles: protect, respect and remedy

Among financed actions
– All actions should ensure the inclusion principles, especially by focusing on empowering vulnerable and marginalised groups/communities in Indonesia;
– All actions should be designed to contribute to promote or maintain civil society spaces as well as creating and enhancing enabling environment for civil society in in Indonesia;
– All actions should include specific activities to enhance the capacity of local civil society organisations
