The overall objective of this call for proposals is the promotion of human rights and democratic reforms in Haiti.

Priorities and funded actions:

Objective
– The promotion of the rights of children and the protection of children victims of exploitation, discrimination, violence and abandonment.

Priorities
– The application of the national legal framework;
– Deinstitutionalization and support for child victims of exploitation, discrimination, violence and / or abandonment;
– International standards applicable in the field of the rights of the child, in particular the Convention on the Rights of the Child and its optional protocols, are known and applied in Haiti;
– Civil society advocacy capacity to find lasting solutions to the problem of child victims of exploitation, discrimination, violence and abandonment.

Among financed actions 
– Financial support program for third parties, for example, allowing local organizations lacking the capacity to manage large-scale projects or organizations that are not familiar with the procedures of the European Union, to benefit from Access to European funding, capacity-building and/or implementation of targeted and high value-added activities, thereby enhancing the scope and quality of the action;
– Socio-cultural activities as a tool/means of action for awareness-raising, social reintegration, training etc; Which provide for synergies between state and non-state actors to assist child victims of exploitation, discrimination, violence and abandonment;
– Strict evaluation system.
