Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* To support and strengthen civil society and human rights organisations to promote and to protect human rights and democracy

Priorities
* To support actions of civil society organisations active in the field of human rights :
– Lot 1: Promoting and protecting children and adolescent’s rights;
– Lot 2: Countering gender-based discrimination and violence in all its forms;
– Lot 3: Supporting the right to know and action for missing persons from the 1990s conflict

Among financed actions
* Activities to support the rights of the child in Kosovo;
* Provision of specific services, such as legal, educational, social and health services. Activities to promote the education of Kosovo parents and children, and improve the quality of parental care;
* Training and capacity building of civil society, public servants and service providers to increase skills and knowledge on specific issues;
* Needs analysis and advocating for specific areas or issues related to specific issues or priorities of this call;
* Non-discrimination and effective mechanisms for monitoring all forms of discrimination based on gender, ethnic origin, religion or belief, disability, age and sexual orientation;
* Public events or forums that bring together various stakeholders for a constructive discussion of human rights issues;
* Activities providing legal and psychological support to people and groups wishing to enforce their rights under anti-discrimination legislation;
* Activities to inform (awareness raising) citizens of discrimination issues, legislation and mechanisms to protect human rights especially targeting those vulnerable groups and communities who are particularly prawn to discrimination;
* Capacity-building training and educational activities including gender and rights-based approaches to organizational development and management and learning exchanges amongst rights-holders and/or duty-bearers;
* Documenting and reporting on cases of human rights violations;
* Ensuring access to remedy for victims, accountability and prosecution of perpetrators Promoting inclusive and strategic partnerships, networking and cooperation with CSOs and other relevant stakeholders or among CSOs on the fields related to this call

Additional information
* This is a restricted call for proposals. In the first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated

* Initial duration of the project: between 30 and 36 months

* Eligibility
– Be legal person;
– Be non-profit-making;
– Be a Civil Society Organisation;
– Be established in a Member State of the European Union or in a country under the IPA II programme;
– Be registered in Kosovo for at least 1 year from the submission deadline of this call;
– Have a proven background and a minimum of 3 years of experience in Kosovo within the last 5 years in the field of application at the submission deadline for concept notes;

– The lead applicant may act individually or with co-applicant(s);

– Action must take place in Kosovo
