Priorities and funded actions:

Objective
* Provide direct support to civil society organisations in order to consolidate and strengthen their own role and strategies in the promotion of human rights and the democratic process

Priorities
* Promotion and protection of the rights of children in street situations;
* Accountability and transparency

Among the actions financed
* Priority 1:
– Awareness-raising activities, including public authorities, on the reality of street children, their rights and the violations they have suffered (violence, discrimination, stigmatization, etc.);
– Actions of psychological, medical and legal assistance to street children, in particular, the most vulnerable or victims of cross-discrimination (young girls victims of gender-based violence, children in situations of abandonment and/or family breakdown, displaced persons, victims of trafficking, very young children, children with disabilities, etc.);
– Actions to prevent socio-economic marginalisation and/or support the socio-economic reintegration of street children

* Priority 2:
– Monitoring and advocacy actions on the fight against impunity for human rights violations, including psychological, medical and legal support for victims and witnesses during trials;
– Monitoring and advocacy actions on the fight against impunity for economic crimes and corruption, including psychological and legal support for victims and witnesses in trials;
– Citizen monitoring and citizen audits on government action, including at the local level, in the use of public resources and the implementation of public policies

Additional information
* This is a restricted call for proposals. In the first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated

* Initial duration of the project: between 24 and 36 months

* Eligibility
– Be a legal person;
– Be non-profit-making;
– Be: a civil society organization (CSO) or part of a CSO network; or a public sector operator;

– The lead applicant may act either individually or with one or more co-applicants;
– Applicants that are not established in Mali must act with at least one Malian co-applicant;

– The proposed actions will be implemented on Malian territory or will be directly linked to situations arising in Mali
