Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
– Support citizen monitoring and evaluation of public policies, particularly in the area of economic field, in Republic of Congo;
– Encourage active citizen participation and democratic and inclusive dialogue through the promotion of an open and tolerant environment, based on freedom of expression and free access to information;
– Support respect for the rights of minorities and vulnerable groups

Priorities
– Civic  education actions, for a just and peaceful society, especially actions aimed at young people to promote their active participation in the public debate;
– Actions to support participatory and representative democracy, the analysis of public policies and the monitoring of their implementation, as well as the consolidation of the capacities of Congolese CSOs in these fields;
– Actions contributing to the respect of the freedom of expression, the reinforcement of the free access to the information, and the efforts for the professionalisation of the media;
– Actions to combat all forms of discrimination, including the fight for gender equality;
– Actions supporting the promotion and protection of the rights of minorities and vulnerable groups

Among financed actions
– Activities for the institutionalisation of consultation mechanisms between civil society and national or local public institutions, as well as donors;
– Joint activities with public institutions and parliamentary bodies;
– Systematic monitoring, data collection and analysis activities and research-based advocacy;
– Awareness and disclosure campaigns;
– Awareness raising and public communication and media activities
