Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* To support higher standards in employment relationship and working conditions in Georgia through improving legal framework and enforcing implementation

Priorities
* To assist the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs (MoIDPLHSA) together with other relevant stakeholders;
* To draft the legal and administrative provisions and establish the institutional mechanisms to improve employment conditions/relations as well as health and safety at work, including a labour inspection system;
* To strengthen the capacity of the national institutions to implement and adopt the best European practices

Among financed actions
* Overall direction, supervision, guidance and monitoring of the project;
* Mobilisation of the necessary expertise in support of the efficient implementation of the project;
* Signing and submission to the concerned authorities the interim quarterly and final project reports prepared with the support of the RTA;
* Formal signing of project work plan(s) and/or their updates;
* Ensuring timely achievement of the project results;
* Provision of legal and technical advice whenever needed;
* Co-chairing of project steering committees

* This call for proposals is an open call for proposals

* Initial duration of the action: 27 months

* Eligibility:
– Be a high ranking Member State official or assimilated agent with a sufficient managerial position to ensure an operational dialogue at political level;
– Have considerable experience at least 5 years in the field of labour legislation with good understanding of subjects related to project activities in a EU Member State institution;
– Have a deep understanding of the Union acquis on labour law as well as OSH, and 3 years of experience in the implementation and enforcement of these labour legislation issues;
– Have a good leadership and managerial skills;
– Be fluent in both written and spoken English;
– Have experience with working in the countries of the Neighbourhood East region can be considered an asset
