Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* To improve transparency, accountability and efficiency of the Armenian central public administration in view of citizens’ and businesses’ needs;
* To strengthen professionalism and well-functioning of Civil Service, in line with the Principles of Public Administration

Priorities
* To strengthen capacity of the Civil Service Office of the Prime Minister’s Office of Armenia and its client institutions;
* To strengthen selection and recruitment;
* To strengthen performance appraisal system;
* To enhance professional development of civil service

Among financed activities
* Overall lead of the implementation of the project;
* Mobilisation of the necessary expertise required for the implementation of project activities;
* Monitoring and steering the project implementation with RTA and taking corrective measures if and when needed;
* Co-chairing and participation in quarterly meetings of the Project Steering Committee

Additional information
* This call for proposals is an open call for proposals

* Initial duration of the action: up to 24 months

* Eligibility:
– Public Administrations and Mandated bodies;
– Profile of the Project Leader (PL):
> Proven contractual relation to a public administration or mandated body;
> University degree in relevant discipline (public administration, economics, law, political science, etc.) or equivalent professional experience of 8 years;
> Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in MS institutions relevant to administrative reform;
> Excellent spoken and written English language skill;
> Strong analytical and report writing skills;
> Good communications, team work, and inter-personal skills;
