Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* To address the priorities and challenges in Georgia’s Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) system with the aim of ensuring interdisciplinary approach, collaborative research and promote evidence-based policy implementation in line with the EU-Georgia Association Agreement (AA);
* To enhance the capacity of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRNSFG)

Priorities
* To address the absence of the science-business collaboration;
* To promote intersectoral multidisciplinary research opportunities;
* To support advancement of the STI system in Georgia

Among financed actions
* To strengthen business links through supportive collaborative activities and funding schemes;
* Coordination and consolidation of activities for science-business collaboration promoted and strengthened;
* To revise and improve legal framework and grant call administration procedures of SRNSFG;
* To implement new targeted programmes;
* To strengthen international collaboration;
* Science communication and awareness-raising on science-business collaboration
