Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* Achieve new models that preserve citizens’ digital sovereignty, where data is a common good owned by citizens and wealth created by data-driven platforms is equally distributed;
* Develop Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and services;
* Address Privacy-by-Design Decentralised Data Governance in any of the 6 defined sector-specific challenges:
– Health;
– Economy;
– Mobility;
– Public services;
– Energy and Sustainability;
– Open Innovation

Priorities
* Address specific social or industrial challenges related to one or more of the application domains or challenges, defined within the Strategic Research and Innovation Work Programme;
* Address a research component related to the topic of Decentralized Data Governance;
* Provide a significant improvement in terms of data sovereignty for end users;
* Provide a bottom-up project should be compliant with Open Licences (i.e. Open Hardware, Open Software and/or Creative Commons)

Among financed actions
* Develop leveraging on decentralised technologies and algorithms (such as on blockchains, distributed ledger technology (DLT);
* Develop peer-to-peer (P2P) technologies;
* Develop artificial intelligence;
* Develop internet of things

Additional information
* This call for proposals is composed of 2 phases and 5 stages:
– First phase:
1) Welcome Event;
2) Work Plan definition of MVP;
3) Mock-up;
4) MVP;
5) Market Proof
– Second phase:
1) Business Plan 

* Initial duration of the project: 12 months

* Eligibility
– Be a legal entity or a natural person;
– Be: an organization such as a SME, a research organisation, a foundation;
– Be: a natural person such as a researcher, a developer, a business developer/entrepreneur;

– Teams must involve minimum 1 and maximum 2 legal entities with a team composed by at least 3 profiles;
– Teams must involve a minimum of 3 natural persons (researcher, developer, business development/entrepreneur);

– 16 teams will be selected to reach the first phase. Only 8 of them will reach the second phase
