Objectives 
– To promote health, preventing diseases and fostering supportive environments for healthy lifestyles taking into account the ‘health in all policies’ principle; 
– To Protect Union citizens from serious cross-border health threats; 
– To contribute to innovative, efficient and sustainable health systems; 
– To facilitate access to better and safer healthcare for Union citizens 

Priorities 
– To support pan-EU collaboration between health and/or social services actors at national, regional or local levels to help Member States to reach the UN/WHO voluntary global targets on non-communicable diseases and achieve the Sustainable Development Goal 3.4
