Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* Improve the prevention and investigation of fraud and other illegal activities beyond current levels by enhancing transnational and multi-disciplinary cooperation;
* Increase the protection of the financial interests of the Union against fraud, facilitating the exchange of information, experience and best practices, including staff exchanges;
* Enhance the degree of development of the specific legal and judicial protection of the financial interests of the Union against fraud by promoting comparative law analysis

Priorities
* Topics 1, 2 and 3:
– Encourage projects for a strong European transnational aspect

* Topic 1 Comparative law studies and dissemination;
* Topic 2 Cooperation and raising awareness;

* Topic 3 Periodical publications

Among financed actions
* Topic 1 Comparative law studies and dissemination: 
– Developing high-profile research activities, including dissemination of results and a concluding conference, where applicable

* Topic 2 Cooperation and raising awareness: 
– Improving cooperation between practitioners and academics, including the organisation of the annual meeting of the presidents of the Associations for European Criminal Law and for the Protection of EU Financial Interests

* Topic 3 Periodical publications: 
– Raising awareness among the judiciary and other branches of the legal profession as regards protecting the Union’s financial interests, including the dissemination of scientific knowledge

Additional information
* This call for proposals is an open call for proposals

* Initial duration of the project:
– Topic 1 and 3: up to 18 months
– Topic 2: up to 12 months

* Eligibility
– National and regional administrations;
– Research and educational institutes (established and operationg for at least one year);
– Non-profit making entities; 

– Only applications by single applicants are allowed. No consortium is allowed to apply
