This call for proposals (Stage 1 of the TP “Metrology for Industry”) aims at selecting Potential Research Topics focused on developping measurement methods and techniques for industrial applications. Topics selected by the end of this call will be included in Stage 2 as the Potential Research Topics (PRTs) and/or Joint Research Project (JRP). PRTs and JRTs will receive European co-financing.
Priorities and funded actions:
– Selecting Potential Research Topics templates that will identify measurement challenges, opportunities or problems, with a view to develop Joint Research Projects and Research Potential Projects for Stage 2 (Call for Stage 2 will be open on 24 June 2014).
– In addition to the development of technologies and methods, contributions to standardisation shall be investigated as a potential part of the Potential Research Topics
– Potential Research Topics shall take account of the EMPIR programme priorities, objectives, potential impact and available budget, and the ability of the metrology community to respond effectively.
