Funds for: to support nuclear research and training activities with an emphasis on continually improving nuclear safety and radiation protection and to contribute to the development of a safe and low-carbon energy system at European level, in both the short and longer term, whilst also addressing other useful applications of nuclear research in the medical and industrial sectors
