This call for proposals aims to create new forms of innovation.

Priorities and funded actions:

This call for proposals is divided in 2 topics

* Topic 1 Innovative schemes for open innovation and science 2.0
Objectives: To assist universities to become open innovation centres for their region in cooperation with companies

Among financed actions: 
– To build or reinforce structures and mechanisms to support effective linkages for innovation
– The development and implementation of a policy of double nominations of research staff in academia, companies and public and semi-public/CSO employment sectors
– Developing curricula and providing freely through online platforms

* Topic 2 Social innovation Community
Objectives: To stimulate and support the establishment of a ‘Social Innovation Community’ of researchers, social innovators, end users (citizens) and policy-makers

Among financed actions: 
– Creating a Community, involving social innovators, researchers, citizens, policy makers
– The organisation of brokerage events to enhance the networking
– Information and awareness activities 
– The organisation of events aimed at identifying priorities for collaboration and research gaps and needs, and enhancing the quality, quantity and visibility of future actions in the area of social innovation
