Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
* Support cross-border and regional civil society initiatives to build sustainable, in-country capacities for effective prevention of violent extremism in Central Asia;
* Support national, cross-border and regional spaces of dialogue to build sustainable, in-country capacities for effective prevention of violent extremism;
* Support cross-border and regional civil society initiatives addressing effective prevention of violent extremism among migrant workers, their families and communities

Priorities
* Lot 1 National, cross-border and regional spaces for dialogue: 
– Strengthen institutional and operational capacity of local civil society actors to create and/or consolidate spaces for dialogue in border areas of CA as violent extremism prevention tools;
– Increase networking and advocacy skills of local civil society actors in the region, resulting in new joint initiatives and cross-border exchange of experience; 
– Enhanced cooperation between civil society actors and local, national or regional institutions on PVE

* Lot 2 Prevention of radicalisation of migrant workers and their families: 
– Strengthen social cohesion and the resilience of migrants and their families to the appeal of violent extremism; 
– Reintegrate former combatants associated with violent extremist groups accompanied, through actions aimed at establishing or strengthening rehabilitation and reintegration mechanism

Among financed actions
* Lot 1:
– Dialogue and confidence building measures, including through culture, art and sport activities aiming to promote understanding, tolerance and social cohesion across various social, political or religious divides;
– Support to the implementation of dialogue and grassroots community mobilisation and cross-border civil society cooperation, including through small grant schemes;
– Enhanced participation into decision-making through advocacy towards, and partnerships with, national level authorities and the security and justice sectors

* Lot 2:
– Research activities, including through participatory methodologies, aiming to analyse and understand the dynamics;
– Enhanced participation into decision-making through advocacy towards, and partnerships with, national level authorities and the security and justice sectors, as well as other relevant national, regional and international stakeholders on the design and implementation of conflict-sensitive policy frameworks, strategies and action plans to prevent violent extremism; 
– Engagement with influential stakeholders in conflict settings, such as security and military actors, local and national authorities, religious and traditional leaders, economic actors
