Priorities and funded actions:

Objective
* To improve occupational health and safety conditions and implementation of coherent and comprehensive strategies
* Lot 1: Mining Sector;
* Lot 2: Vert Hazardous Sectors determined according to NACE

Priorities
* To improve working conditions;
* To constitute safety culture at workplaces;
* To enhance capacity building;
* To support human resources development;
* To underline the importance of unionization and compensations due to occupational accidents,
* To raise awareness;
* To reach out the employers, employees and relevant stakeholders at the local level for the mining sector and very hazardous sectors 

Among financed actions
* Activities to facilitate of fulfilling the legal obligations regarding OHS;
* Providing training activities to improve working conditions to employees, employers, OHS professionals and other stakeholders for decent work;
* Improving the effectiveness of current OHS councils and promoting the establishment of the councils in workplaces;
* Activities for promoting industry – university and industry-school engagement in the field of OHS;
* Activities related to developing distance education programmes for employees; 
* Preparation and design booklets about safe working procedures for employees both in printed and digital format;
* Technical visits aiming at the assessment of different approaches and best practices in OHS in EU member countries

Additional information
* This is a restricted call for proposals. In first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated

* Initial duration of the project: between 12 and 18 months

* Eligibility
– Be a legal person;
– Be non-profit-making;
– Be a specific type of organisation such as Non-governmental organisation (NGO), Professional organisations, Universities, Vocational and Technical High Schools in the field of mining, mechanical, metal, metallurgy, electric and electrical, chemical, construction, agriculture, maritime-related technologies, International (inter-governmental) organisation;
– Be established in a Member State of the European Union or an eligible country according to the article 10 of the CIR 

– Actions must take place in Turkey;

– There is no minimum number of co-applicant(s) for this Call for proposals;

– The indicated actions which can be supported under this Call for Proposal should be designed in the field of OHS
