This call for proposals aims to strengthen administrative capacities of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning/Administration of Environment and Local-self Government Units, for  transposition and implementation of new Industrial Emissions Directive 2010/75/EU (IED).

Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
– To increase the effectiveness of the country’s preparation for EU
Accession and to ensure efficiency of EU programs in the country
– Strengthenning administrative capacities of the Ministry of Environment and Physical Planning/Administration of Environment and Local-self Government Units, for  transposition and implementation of new Industrial Emissions Directive 2010/75/EU (IED)

Among financed actions
– Organizing advice and coaching sessions: Coaching and advice activities will be the predominant type of activity. They will help for drafting of new legal acts and/or amendments to the existing national legislation
– Helping in the drafting of new legal acts and/or amendments to the existing national
legislation (laws and implementing secondary legislation) which regulates the area of
implementation IPPC environmental acquis, on the basis of the mentioned relevant EU legislation in  force
– Organising several seminars and workshops for vertical transfer of knowledge from the central to the local level, using and sharing the expertise of MS experts and the experience of the BC administration
