Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives
PP-1-1-2018: Environmental monitoring of pesticide use through honeybees
– Develop a non-invasive environmental monitoring system via the collection of biweekly pollen samples during two beekeeping seasons by beekeepers from several countries (n= 5-6) in Europe (citizens’ science project);
– Identify areas at risk for bee health by putting analytical data in a geospatial context, aiming to understand the possible sources and variability of both bee food and contaminants;
– Give an indication of the plant biodiversity of the landscape linked to the biology of honeybees throughout the year

PP-1-2-2018: Rare 2030 – a participatory foresight study for policy-making rare diseases:
– Propose sustainable policy scenarios in the field of rare diseases for the period 2020-2030 and to address challenges and opportunities up until 2030 in a comprehensive and innovative manner, with particular emphasis on limited competences at EU level

– Consensus building methods will be used to define the main drivers (political, scientific, etc.) for scenario building and will be open to large groups of stakeholders on a European level
