Pgm2014 2020: Yes
The Permanent Representatives of the EU Member States have validated the agreement reached with the European Parliament on the European Social Fund regulation which sets out the criteria for funding employment-related projects in the next EU multiannual budget for 2014–2020.
The ESF regulation is one of the legislative acts forming the Cohesion Policy package. It is the EU instrument supporting employment, education, training and social inclusion and will also enable the launch the Youth Employment Initiative, which in particular aims at supporting young people not in education, employment or training in the regions with the youth unemployment rate above 25 per cent.
