Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To contribute towards implementing the Blockchain chapter of the Rolling Plan for ICT standardisation
  • To reinforce the link between EBSI and International and European blockchain/Distributed Ledger
    Technologies (DLT) standardisation and technical specification activities
  • To strengthen participation of European start-ups, SMEs and independent experts in
    developing blockchain/DLT standards and technical specification

Priorities

  • Priority 1 – support the implementation of the Rolling Plan for ICT Standardisation in International and European blockchain/DLT standardisation scenes
  • Priority 2 – reinforce the link with the European Blockchain Services Infrastructure (EBSI) and the European Blockchain Partnership (EBP)
  • Priority 3 – support the participation of European standardisation experts, in particular from European start-ups, SMEs and independent experts but as well from industry, research, education and governmental bodies, in International and European Standard Developing Organisations

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the project : 24 months

Eligibity 

  • Be legal entities
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 58 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic “Blockchain standardisation”: 1 million euro
  • Amoint of the grant: 1 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 50% and 100% of the total eligible costs
