ESF + – Framework Partnership agreement under ESF-OG-2021 Social Enterprise – 2021

Funds for: supporting networking at Union level with and among relevant stakeholders and contribute to building up the institutional capacity of microfinance and social enterprise finance institutions.

Priorities and funded actions:

Objectives:

  • To reinforce the capacity of the network’s members;
  • To provide input for policy design and implementation in the area of the call;
  • Provide data / research on developments in the field of microfinance or social enterprise finance.

Priorities:

  • Designing and launching financial instruments and measures for microfinance, social economy and social enterprise finance under the Social Investment and Skills window of the InvestEU Programme and on ESF+ actions;
  • Raising awareness about EU funding at national/regional (in particular ESF+) among social economy stakeholders and microentrepreneurs, and improving their access to this funding.

Among financed actions:

  • Analytical activities:
    • Collection of data and statistics;
    • Development of common methodologies;
    • Policy analyses and recommendations;
    • Monitoring and assessment of relevant legislation, policies and practices;
    • Studies, researches, analyses and surveys.
  • Capacity building activities:
    • Trainings, workshops, seminars;
    • Development of training modules and online training tools.
  • Creation and improving of networks, mutual learning, cooperation, awareness-raising and dissemination activities:
    • Exchanges on good practices, innovative approaches and experiences;
    • Peer reviews and mutual learning;
    • Conferences, seminars, media campaigns, information campaigns;
    • Compilation and publication of materials to disseminate information about the EU initiatives and their results;
    • Regular information on EU initiatives and funding;
    • Development, operation and maintenance of systems and tools using information and communication technologies, development of web pages or a helpdesk for members and stakeholders.

Additional information:

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals. Initial duration of the action: 4 years.

Eligibility:

  • Be a legal person;
  • Be a public or private entity;
  • Be a non-profit making entity;
  • Be: a NGO, a company, a university, a research institution, a SME, an organisation…
  • Be mandated by their members, through a Management Board or other administrative forum.

    • EEA countries;
    • Countries associated to the ESF+;
    • EU acceding countries, candidate countries and potential candidate countries;
    • countries which are in ongoing negotiations for an association agreement and where the agreement enters into force before grant signature.
