Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To build trust within the EU and amongst all citizens, farmers and non-farmers alike and to promote information about the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP);
  • To explain and raise awareness on the EU support to agriculture and rural development through the CAP;
  • To engage with farmers and other actors in rural areas, and for them to further communicate to their constituencies and the wider public about the CAP.

Priorities

  • Raising awarness of young people on the new CAP and the contribution it makes in many areas such as the climate change challenge, food, healthy and high quality eating as a lifestyle choice, in relation also with the EU School Scheme for Milk, Fruit and Vegetables and the Tartu Call;
  • Raising awarness of skateholders on the contribution that the CAP makes to support the social, environmental and economic sustainability of agriculture.

Among financed actions

  • TV features on agriculture and innovation;
  • Farm visits;
  • Information campaigns;
  • Audiovisual and media activities;
  • Apps for smartphones and tablets.

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action: 12 months.

Eligibility

  • Be a legal entity;
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries.
Financement
  • Amount of the grant: 4 million euro
  • Indicative budget per project: between 75,000 and 500,000 euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 60% of the total eligible costs
