According to the latest report, the EU agri-food trade has remained stable.
EU exports have been holding firm at €11.5 billion and, though imports have overall slightly decreased, there has been a noticeable increase in goods imported from the US. Exports to Singapore and Japan grew considerably reflecting the strong performance of EU products on these markets during the last year.
These results illustrate the impact of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), including the European Rural Development Fund (EAFRD).
