The winners of the 2013 edition of the “Europe past forward” competition are amateur video makers from Estonia, Lithuania and Portugal. They have been awarded for their videos wondering about the meaning of European citizenship.

The award ceremony was held in Brussels on 20 March 2013 and the three lucky winners were awarded prizes of 5 000, 3 000 and 2 000 euros.

Over 130 amateur video makers from the EU’s 27 Member States and Croatia (which is joining the EU in 2013) submitted entries to the Europe Past Forwardcompetition, an annual video challenge organised by the European Economic and Social Committee.
