The European Broadband Award 2016 aims to highlight the best projects in the field of broadband internet.
If your project aims to provide citizens with access to high-speed broadband internet, whatever the size and location of your structure, you are the perfect candidate. This award is also for ESIF funded projects.
You can send your application until the 15 September. There are 5 categories:
– Innovative models of financing, business and investment
– Cost reduction and co-investment
– Socio-economic impact and affordability
– Openness and competition
– Future-proof and quality of service
The award ceremony will take place on 14 November, in the presence of Gunther Oettinger, European Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society.
