Horizon 2020 is the biggest EU Research and Innovation programme ever with nearly €80 billion of funding available over 7 years (2014 to 2020). The aim is to support projects throughout the innovation chain and to rationalise financing for growth.

  • Smart, green and integrated transport;
  • Climate action, environment, resource efficiency and raw materials;
  • Europe in a changing world – inclusive, innovative and reflective societies;
  • Secure societies – protecting freedom and security of Europe and its citizens
For this last year, CS2 calls will open on 15 October and the first deadline is set for 22 January 2020. 521 million euro will be available for:

  • Sustainable food security: 173 million euro
