Small and medium-sized enterprises in Spain and Greece will benefit from new funding worth €700 million.
The European Investment Bank (EIB) has signed two financing agreements for small and medium-sized enterprises, with support from the Juncker Plan’s European Strategic Investment Fund (ESFI).
In Greece, the EIB and the National Bank of Greece (BNG) are financing 200 million euro through a private placement of covered bonds. In Spain, the EIB will contribute to a 250 million euro loan portfolio in favour of companies with Banco Stantander for a 500 million euro financing.
