The revised InvestEU Fund should support European investors by integrating and simplifying the financing offered under a single budget guarantee system.
On Friday, the Parliament as a whole gave its green light, by 480 votes in favour, 142 against and 64 abstentions, to the launch of tripartite negotiations on the renewed EU programme to support investment and access to finance by addressing market failures, sub-optimal investment and the investment gap in targeted sectors for the period 2021-2027.
