What is this methodology sheet for?

The provisional budget to be submitted to the European Commission must abide by the rules on non-overlapping European grants, on non-profit for the duration of the grant agreement, on non retro-activity of expenditure and on systematic cofinancing. You must work in coordination with your partners to estimate your expenditure as accurately as possible. If your actual expenditure is less than your estimate, the European Commission will reduce the amount of its subsidy. Conversely, if your final budget is higher than the provisional budget, the amount awarded will never be revised upward. Avoid ‘ballpark figure’ budgets they will not be looked upon favourably.
