The European Commission will provide 172.5 million euro in funding from the EU’s agricultural budget to promote EU agri-food products in Europe and around the world.
This aid, financed by the Promotion of EU farms products programme, was designed to help EU agri-food producers communicate on the quality of their products in order to promote them in the EU and to open new markets. It includes a number of priorities, for example highlighting the quality of European food products through geographical designations of origin or organic production methods.
