€450 million, €915 million and €818 million were disbursed to Austria, Czechia and Croatia respectively by the European Commission under the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) framework. The RRF is incorporated into ambitious NextGenerationEU plan and in total comes to €800 billion (in current prices).
Austria is set to receive €3.5 billion, Czechia €7 billion and Croatia €6.3 billion over the lifecycle of their plans, i.e. the current grants allocation equals to 13% of the total sum that the countries are expected to receive in the future. The further disbursements will be authorized based on the states’ performance and the implementation of the investments and proclaimed reforms. The member states are supposed to kick-start the implementation of the investment and reform measures outlined in each national recovery and resilience plan.
Apart from recovery assistance after COVID-19 crisis, the plans must incorporate Union’s ambitious green and digital goals, as well as strengthening resilience and cohesion between the member-states.
