Acknowledging the complexity of the procedures for allocating European funds, the French State and Regions have decided to work together to simplify their procedures in order to enable these funds to be deployed faster and more securely across the territory.
They decided to launch a joint work to analyze and share good practices in order to simplify procedures and to propose measures to reduce administrative burdens, aimed in particular at facilitating procedures for project leaders, shortening the deadlines for granting and paying aid, limiting the number of supporting documents required, and stabilizing the rules in force throughout the life of a project.
