Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To increase the impact and the sustainability of complementary labour pathways as regards numbers of legal admission places and the quality of the programmes

Priorities

  • Priority 1: creating new and/or upscaling existing complementary labour pathway programmes to offer more places of admission to skilled persons in need of international protection and address labour shortages in the Member States
  • Priority 2: expanding the number of Member States that implement such programmes and expanding the number of businesses willing to engage
  • Priority 3: creating the necessary (facilitated) procedures and support structures to enable admission of skilled persons in need of international protection through complementary labour pathway programmes

Among financed actions

  • Activities to engage national authorities concerned by complementary pathways linked to work
  • Activities to mobilise support and build strong partnerships on complementary pathways between key stakeholders
  • Developing and providing training to stakeholders
  • Conferences, workshops and awareness-raising activities
  • Activities relating to engaging companies that might be willing to take part in complementary pathways, in both urban/rural settings
  • Pilot projects on work-related complementary pathways
  • In third countries hosting refugees, organisation of joint study, information campaigns, job fairs

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the call: 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be an EU Member States excluding Denmark
  • Be an international organisation
  • Be an entity without legal personality
  • Be an associations and interest groupings
  • Countries currently negotiating association agreements
  • Profit making entities and international organisations can not apply as coordinator
  • A consortium composed of at least 5 entities, established in at least 5 different EU Member States must be constituted
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 40 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic “AMIF-2023-TF2-AG-CALL-01”: 6 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 1 and 2 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 90% of the total eligible costs
