To support the deployment of strategic networks as part of the Digital Global Gateway Strategy of the EU, contributing to strengthen the quality of connectivity within the Union as well as with third countries.

Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 90 million euro
  • Amount per topic:
    • CEF-DIG-2023-GATEWAYS-STUDIES – CEF-PJG CEF: 15 million euro
    • CEF-DIG-2023-GATEWAYS-WORKS – CEF-INFRA CEF: 75 million euro
  • Amount of the grant:
    • CEF-DIG-2023-GATEWAYS-STUDIES – CEF-PJG CEF: 5 million euro
    • CEF-DIG-2023-GATEWAYS-WORKS – CEF-INFRA CEF: 20 million euro
  • Co-financing rate:
    • CEF-DIG-2023-GATEWAYS-STUDIES – CEF-PJG CEF: 50% of the total eligible costs
    • CEF-DIG-2023-GATEWAYS-WORKS – CEF-INFRA CEF: 70 % of the total eligible costs
    • For all other cateogries (“project funding rate”): 30% of the total eligible costs
    • For projects concerning strong cross-border dimension: 50% of the total eligible costs
