Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To complete the Digital Europe Programme
  • To support cross-border links between two or more national quantum communication networks in Member States, and/or linking the EuroQCI’s terrestrial and space segments

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Deployment of cross-border quantum terrestrial backbone network
  • Priority 2: Interconnection with the EuroQCI’s space segment developed under the Secure Connectivity programme
  • Priority 3: Provision of fibre links between the EuroQCI and a pan-European network of Security Operation Centres

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity established in an EU Member States
  • A consortium composed of at least 2 entities must be constituted
  • A consortium composed of at least 2 entities established in at least 2 different EU Member States must be constituted in case of terrestrial connections
Financement
  • Total budget of the topic: 90 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: up to 5 million euro
  • Co-financing rate:
    • Up to 50% for the costs of studies
    • Up to 70% for the costs of works in outermost regions
    • Up to 30% for the costs for all other categories
