Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To enable PCIs (Projects of Common Interest) to be implemented within the framework of the deployment of trans-European networks in the energy sector
  • To support energy infrastructure PCIs that have significant socio-economic benefits and ensure greater solidarity among Member States

Priority

To support the implementation of PCIs within the framework of the deployment of trans-European networks in the energy sector.

Among financed actions

  • Activities needed to prepare PCI implementation, such as preparatory, mapping, feasibility, evaluation, testing and validation studies, including in the form of software
  • Technical support measure, including prior action to define and develop a PCI and decide on its financing, such as reconnaissance of the sites concerned and preparation of the financial package

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: to be fixed in the Grant Agreement (up to 31.12.2028)

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 800 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic: distributed between the call topics depending on the proposals received
  • Co-financing rate: between 50% and 70%
