Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To protect, promote and raise awareness on rights by providing financial support to civil society organisations active at local, regional, national and transnational level in promoting and cultivating these rights
  • To strengthen the protection and promotion of Union values and respect for the rule of law
  • To contribute to building a more democratic Union, democratic dialogue, transparency and good governance

 

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To support activities contributing to the promotion, protection and awareness raising of Union values and the fundamental rights enshrined in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights
  • Priority 2: To promote equality, prevent and combat discrimination
  • Priority 3: To promote gender equality
  • Priority 4: To combat racist and xenophobic hate crime and hate speech, including online
  • Priority 5: To protect and promote the rights of the child
  • Priority 6: To prevent and combat gender-based violence
  • Priority 7: To prevent and combat violence against children
  • Priority 8: To promote citizen’s engagement and participation
  • Priority 9: To promote European Remembrance

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals

 

  • Initial duration of the action: 12 months

 

Eligibility

  • Be a private non-profit organisation established in a EU Member State
  • Be a beneficiary of a Framework Partnership Agreement within the Call CERV-2021-OG-FPA — European networks, civil society organisations active at EU level and European think tanks in the areas of Union values
  • For priority 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7:

– Be an established formal network with own legal personality or represent (as joint secretariat or officially appointed coordinator) an established formal network, organised at European level and with member organisations/bodies or authorities from at least 14 EU Member States

  • For priority 6:

– Be an established formal network with own legal personality or represent (as joint secretariat or officially appointed coordinator) an established formal network, organised at European level and with member organisations/bodies or authorities from at least 14 EU Member States;

– The networks active in the area of female genital mutilation (FGM) must have member organisations/bodies or authorities in at least 12 EU Member States

  • For priority 8:

– Be an established formal network with own legal personality or represent (as joint secretariat or officially appointed coordinator) an established formal network, organised at European level and with member organisations/bodies or authorities from at least 14 EU Member States

– Be an established civil society organisation active at EU level with activities in at least 14 Member States or a European think tank

  • For priority 9:

– Be an established formal network with own legal personality or represent (as joint secretariat or officially appointed coordinator) an established formal network, organised at European level and with member organisations/bodies or authorities from at least 14 EU Member States

– Be an established civil society organisation active at EU level or a European think tank

Financement
  • Indicative budget per priority:

– Priority 1: 1.1 million euro

– Priority 2: 4.1 million euro

– Priority 3: 1.6 million euro

– Priority 4: 2.6 million euro

– Priority 5: 1.2 million euro

– Priority 6: 1.6 million euro

– Priority 7: 1 million euro

– Priority 8: 6 million euro

– Priority 9: 1.7 million euro

  • Amount of the grant: no limit, based on actual costs
  • Co-financing rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
