Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To offer training, professional development, and performance opportunities to young musicians with great potential
  • To support the professionalisation of young musicians, offering them opportunities for high standard career development through recruitment, training and touring and performance opportunities
  • To foster the artistic excellence of youth orchestral performance
  • To support the activities of organisations and artists who act as promoters and ambassadors of EU values

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Artists and cultural professionals: empowering the cultural and creative sectors
  • Priority 2: Culture for the people: enhancing cultural participation and the role of culture in society
  • Priority 3: Culture for co-creative partnerships: strengthening the cultural dimension of EU external relations
  • Priority 4: Culture for digital transformation: help the European cultural and creative sectors to fully take advantage of new technologies to enhance their competitiveness

Among financed actions

  • Training, mentoring programmes, apprenticeship activities or advice to music professionals
  • Workshops, events, concerts, exchanges, coproductions, online and offline activities aiming at the discovery of the orchestral world for diverse audience, and notably young audience

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action: up to 48 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 7.200.000 euro
  • Amount of the grant: up to 2.4 million euro in total per project over the 4-year duration of the project
  • Co-financing rate: 40% of the total eligible costs

This grant is a lump sum grant.
