Priorities and funded actions

Objectives 

  • To promote policy cooperation and innovative actions supporting all strands of the Programme, promoting a diverse, independent and pluralistic media environment and media literacy, thereby foresting freedom or artistic expression, intercultural dialogue and social inclusion
  • To encourage innovative approaches to content creation, access, distribution, and promotion across cultural and creative sectors and with other sectors, including by taking into account the digital transition, covering both market and non-market dimensions

Priorities

  • Priority 1: encourage players from different cultural and creative sectors to design and test innovative digital solutions with a potential positive long-term impact on multiple cultural and creative sectors.
  • Priority 2: support the competitiveness, greening process, cooperation, circulation, visibility, availability, diversity and/or audiences across sectors 
  • Priority 3: ensure more sustainable and more environmentally-respectful industry
  • Priority 4: ensure gender balance, inclusion, diversity and representativeness.

Among financed actions

  • To support the development of innovative tools, models and solutions applicable in the audiovisual and other cultural and creative sectors
  • To support the competitiveness, greening process, cooperation, circulation, visibility, availability, diversity and/or audiences across sectors

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals 
  • Initial duration of the action: 24 months

Eligibility

  • Be legal entities (public or private bodies)
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries
  • Associations and interest groupings : Entities composed of members may participate as ‘sole beneficiaries’ or ‘beneficiaries without legal personality’
Financement
  •  Total budget of the topic «Innovation Lab» : 13.64 million euro 
  • Co-financing rate: up to 60% of the total eligible costs
