Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To strengthen the capacity of cybersecurity actors in the Union to monitor cyber-attacks and threats and supply chain risks
  • To create, interconnect and strengthen cybersecurity ranges at European, national and regional level as well as within and across critical infrastructures

Priorities

  • Priority 1: Increase and facilitate security and interoperability testing capabilities and certification of connected ICT systems
  • Priority 2: Improve the capabilities and cooperation of cybersecurity certification stakeholders

Among financed actions

  • Cyber-security and interoperability tests
  • Creation of protection profiles or adoption/improvement of standards used in certification schemes

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in EU Member States or EEA countries
  • Be a national cybersecurity certification authority, conformity assessment bodies, accreditation bodies, universities and other relevant stakeholders
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 176.5 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic ” Testing and Certification Capabilities”: 5 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: between 500.000 and 1 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 50% of the total eligible costs
