Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To foster the efficiency and competitiveness of the European Defence Technological and Industrial Base (EDTIB) to support the ramp-up of the production capacity and timely delivery of relevant defence products (ground-to-ground and artillery ammunition as well as missiles) through industrial reinforcement.

Among financed actions

  • The optimisation, expansion, modernisation, upgrading or repurposing of existing, or the establishment of new, production
    capacities
  • The establishment of cross-border industrial partnerships
  • The building-up and making available of reserved surge manufacturing capacities of relevant defence products
  • The testing, including the necessary infrastructure, and, as appropriate, reconditioning certification of relevant defence products
  • The training, reskilling or upskilling of personnel
  • The improvement of the access to finance for the relevant economic operators active in the production of or making available of relevant defence products

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action:
    • EDF-ASAP-2023-LS-POW-STEP: between 12 and 36 months
    • EDF-ASAP-2023-LS-POW-FAST: less than 24 months

  • Be a public or private entity
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 144 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic:
    • EDF-ASAP-2023-LS-POW-STEP: 94 million euro
    • EDF-ASAP-2023-LS-POW-FAST: 50 million euro
  • Amount of the grant :
    • EDF-ASAP-2023-LS-POW-STEP: up to 47 million euro per project
    • EDF-ASAP-2023-LS-POW-FAST: up to 10 million euro per project
  • Co-financing rate: up to 35% of the total eligible costs
