Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

To take camouflage in a wider spectral range, also including radar frequency bands
Enhance protection of forces
Improve individual soldier equipment

Priorities

Priority 1: to investigate suitable adaptive innovative camouflage techniques
Priority 2: to understand the prioritisation of adaptive camouflage techniques
Priority 3: to have the ability to change the signature (intensities and patterns) in different spectral bands at the same time without deteriorating the signature in any other spectral band

Among financed actions

Activities that aim to create, underpin and improve knowledge, products and technologies
Activities that aim to increase interoperability and resilience, including secured production and exchange of data
Design of a defence product, tangible or intangible component or technology

Additional information

This call for proposals is a restricted call for proposals. In first instance, only concept notes will be evaluated
Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 48 months

Eligibility

Be a legal person
Be established in one of the eligible countries
Be a consortium composed of at least 2 independant entities from at least 2 different eligible countries
