Objectives
* To support the applicants in realising next steps towards the market and shorten time-to-market for innovative products and services;
* To verify the need/benefit of the product/service for users/customers/payers/partners;
* To increase the possibility to attract private investment

* Novelty and feasibility of the approach;
* Value proposition;
* Potential market impact of the product/service;
* Qualified team with the capacity to bring the innovation to market;
* Impact of the opportunity in the local InnoStars Region

Among rewarded actions
* Prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) in the healthcare field

Additional information
* This competition is an open competition

* Eligibility:
– Be micro and small enterprises (according to EU SME definition), spin-offs and start-ups that already have a prototype or a MVP, but product/service is not on the market yet;
– Be incorporated/registered before the subgranting agreement initiation;
– Must not have received grant for the same project/service/product in 2017, 2018 or 2019 from InnoStars Awards, European Health Catapult or EIT Health Headstart funding;
– Be available to spend at least 15 days travelling for educational and mentoring purposes;
– Be willing and capable to travel to other European locations during the training and mentoring;
– Be legal entities from the following countries: Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia

Financement

* Amount of the prize:
– First prize: 25,000 euro
– Second prize: 15,000 euro
– Third prize: 10,000 euro
