Priorities and funded actions

Objective

To offer support to schools & VETs, (ISCED 1 – 4), and/or higher education Institutions involved in Teacher Training /Education for boosting knowledge on how to teach European Union subjects.

Priorities

Priority 1 – Gather and discuss teaching methodologies for curricular and extracurricular activities

Priority 2 – Collect and share good practices on learning about European Union subjects

Priority 3 – Organise co-teaching and collaborative teaching experiences both via mobility or online

Among financed activities

  • Exchanging information on content and promoting results of methodologies applied
  • Enhancing cooperation between different schools/VETs (ISCED 1 – 4), teacher training /education providers giving them international experience and a European standing
  • Exchanging knowledge and mobility for co-teaching
  • Fostering cooperation and creating a solid and sustainable knowledge platform among schools & VETs (ISCED 1– 4), and/or higher education Institutions involved in Teacher Training /Education

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: 36 months

Eligibility 

  • Be schools, VET providers (ISCED levels 1 to 4)
  • Be higher education providing initial and/or in-service training to teachers of schools and/or VET institution (ISCED 1 – 4)
  • A consortium composed of at least 6 Institutions, established in at least 3 different EU Member States and third countries associated to the Programme must be constituted
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 4.2 million euro
  • Total budget of the topic “Jean Monnet Networks in other fields of Education and Training”: 2 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: up to 300,000 euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
