Priorities and funded actions
Objectives:
-To increase quality in the work, activities and practices of organisations and institutions involved, opening up;
-To include new actors, not naturally included within one sector;
– To build capacity of organisations to work transnationally and across sectors;
– To address common needs and priorities in the fields of education, training, youth and sport;
– To enable transformation and change (at individual, organisational or sectoral level), leading to improvements and new approaches, in proportion to the context of each organisation;
Priorities
- Priority 1 : To support the higher education sector in becoming even more inter-connected, innovative, inclusive and digital
– Sub priority 1 : Promoting inter-connected higher education systems;
– Sub priority 2 : Stimulating innovative learning and teaching practices;
– Sub priority 3 : Developing STEM/STEAM in higher education, in particular women participation in STEM;
– Sub priority 4 : Rewarding excellence in learning, teaching and skills development;
– Sub priority 5 : Building inclusive higher education systems;
– Sub priority 6 : Supporting digital capabilities of the higher education sector;
- Priority 2 : In the field of school education
– Sub priority 1: Tackling learning disadvantage, early school leaving and low proficiency in basic skills;
– Sub priority 2 : Supporting teachers, school leaders and other teaching professions;
– Sub priority 3 : Development of key competences;
– Sub priority 4 : Promoting a comprehensive approach to language teaching and learning;
– Sub priority 5 : Promoting interest and excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) and the STEAM approach;
– Sub priority 6: Developing high quality early childhood education and care systems;
Sub priority 7: Recognition of learning outcomes for participants in cross-border learning mobility;

-Sub priority 1 : Adapting vocational education and training to labour market needs;
– Sub priority 2 : Increasing the flexibility of opportunities in vocational education and training;
– Sub priority 3: Contributing to innovation in vocational education and training;
– Sub priority 4 : Increasing attractiveness of VET;
– Sub priority 5: Improving quality assurance in vocational education and training;
– Sub priority 6: Creation and implementation of internationalisation strategies for VET providers;
- Priority 4 : in the field of adult education:
-Sub priority 1: Improving the availability of high quality learning opportunities for adults;
-Sub priority 2: Creating upskilling pathways, improving accessibility and increasing take-up of adult education;
-Sub priority 3 : Improving the competences of educators and other adult education staff;
-Sub priority 4 : Enhancing quality assurance in adult education;
– Sub priority 5 : Developing forward-looking learning centres;
– Sub priority 6: Promoting Erasmus+ among all citizens and generations
- Priority 5: Strengthening cross-sectorial cooperation that allows for greater synergies across different areas of actions that matter for young people, promoting youth participation in various scales and formats and supporting active citizenship of young people
-Sub priority 1: Promoting active citizenship, young people’s sense of initiative and youth entrepreneurship including social entrepreneurship;
– Sub priority 2: Increasing quality, innovation and recognition of youth work;
– Sub priority 3 : Strengthening the employability of young people;
– Sub priority 4: Reinforcing links between policy, research and practice
- Priority 6 : To contribute to the implementation of key policy documents such as the EU Work Plan for Sport (2021-2024) or the Council recommendation of health-enhancing physical activity
-Sub priority 1: Encouraging the participation in sport and physical activity;
– Sub priority 2 : Promoting integrity and values in sport;
– Sub priority 3: Promoting education in and through sport;
– Sub priority 4: Combating violence and tackling racism, discrimination and intolerance in sport and tackling violent radicalisation
