Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • To address clearly defined unmet societal challenges in the area of “relief for persons fleeing armed conflicts and other victims of natural or man-made disasters” and/ or “fostering positive learning experiences and outcomes for young people with fewer opportunities”
  • To provide tangible benefits to the communities within which the activities are carried out
  • To ensure a direct contact between the participant and the beneficiaries of the solidarity-related activities
  • To reach out to young people with fewer opportunities, including refugees, asylum seekers and migrants
  • To promote diversity, intercultural and inter-religious dialogue – and the EU values of human dignity, freedom, equality and respect for human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to minorities
  • To reinforce the capacities and international scope of the participating organisations
  • To raise young volunteers’ awareness and understanding of other cultures and countries, offering them the opportunity to build networks of international contacts

Priorities

  • Priority 1: To provide relief for persons fleeing armed conflicts and other victims of natural or man-made disasters
  • Priority 2: To foster positive learning experiences and outcomes for young people with fewer opportunities
  • Priority 3: To promote waste management and recycling solutions

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be established in one of the eligible countries:
    • EU Member States (including overseas countries and territories)
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, which complies different conditions (see details on the call document) must be constituted

  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 24 months
