Priorities and funded actions

Objectives

  • Implementation at national and/or regional level of accreditation and certification quality assurance schemes for the entire pathway of breast cancer screening, including diagnosis and care.

Priorities 

  • Priority 1: Improve the quality and performance of the entire pathway of population-based screening for breast cancer;
  • Priority 2: Pave the way to address cervical and colorectal cancers in subsequent open calls;
  • Priority 3: Reduce the disparity among and within the Member States associated with an unequal access to quality-assured screening programmes.

Among financed actions

  • Organisation, implementation and running of accreditation and certification activities making use of guidelines for breast, colorectal and cervical cancer screening, diagnosis and care.

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals.
  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 24 months.

Eligibility 

  • Be a legal person;
  • Be a public or private entity;
  • Proposals must be submitted by either a single applicant or a consortium of at least 3 applicants (beneficiaries; not affiliated entities) from 3 different eligible countries.
Financement
  • Call budget: 2 million euro
  • Topic budget: 2 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: 2 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: up to 80% of the total eligible costs
