Objectives

  • To support the policy priority to respond to the COVID-19 crisis and implements the EU4Health Programme’s general objective of protecting people in the Union from serious cross-border threats to health

  • Priority 1: to support Member States and relevant stakeholders to implement the results of recent and relevant research in relation to vaccination against COVID-19

  • Mapping public health evidence and research results on COVID-19 large-scale vaccination
  • Identifying challenges and assess the feasibility to implement solutions in Member States
  • Pilot activities
  • Robust sustainability plan

Additional information

  • This call for proposals is an open call for proposals
  • Initial duration of the action: between 12 and 36 months

Eligibility

  • Be a legal person
  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be academia and education establishments, research institutes, hospitals, expert networks, private entities, Member States’ authorities, and civil society organisations (associations, foundations, NGOs and similar entities)
  • Have an extensive experience in public health and the planning and/or implementation of vaccination programmes, with a minimum of 10 years of proved experience
  • A consortium composed of at least 3 entities, established in at least 3 different EU Member States or associated countries to the programme must be constituted
  • Proposals by a single applicant are also eligible under this call
Financement
  • Total budget of the topic: 18.4 million euro
  • Amount of the grant: up to 1.8 million euro
  • Co-financing rate: between 60% and 80% of the total eligible costs
