Priorities and funded actions

Objectives 

  • To enhance the engagement of young people and organisations in accessible and high-quality solidarity activities, primarily volunteering, as a means to strengthen cohesion, solidarity, democracy, European identity and active citizenship in the Union
  • To provide young people, including young people with fewer opportunities, with easily accessible opportunities for engagement in solidarity activities that induce positive societal changes in the Union and beyond, while improving and properly validating their competences, as well as facilitating their continuous engagement as active citizens

  • Priority 1: Participation of young people in solidarity activities
    • Sub-priority 1: Volunteering Projects
    • Sub-priority 2: Volunteering Teams in High Priority Areas
    • Sub-priority 3: Solidarity Projects
  • Priority 2 : Participation of young people in humanitarian aid related solidarity activities
    • Sub-priority 1: Humanitarian Aid Volunteering projects

  • Quality Label for solidarity volunteering activities
  • Quality Label for humanitarian aid volunteering
  • Measures to provide clearance requirements in accordance with applicable national law
  • Measures to ensure the quality and accessibility of volunteering, including online and offline training

  • Initial duration of the action: up to 12 months

Eligibility

  • Be a public or private entity
  • Be a non-profit or profit making entity
  • Be a local, regional, national or international
  • Be a group of young people registered in the European Solidarity Corps Portal
Financement
  • Total budget of the call: 142.2 million euro
